How funny is it that I'm on the shortlist to join the staff of a Percy Jackson fansite? I mean, I really want to. It would be a lot of fun. And if the movie takes off like some people think it will, then who knows what could happen to fansite staff members. Also, it would look good on a resume for a children's publishing house, right?

Speaking of which, all the publishing houses I want to work for are hiring for the position I want RIGHT. NOW. Ugh why can't I just GRADUATE and APPLY already?!?!? Come next March, all I'm going to do is apply, apply, apply. I want to have a job lined up when I graduate. And it would be amazing to do children's publishing. I mean, it's my forte. I adore it. I want to spend my time working on those books. Why do I want to work in such a competitive field? Grah.

In other news, I will be done with finals by this time tomorrow. How I am supposed to identify Charlotte Smith poems is beyond me. They're all about the sea. Still, this is Puckett we're talking about. It shouldn't be that bad.
